Xiaomi Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has extraordinary sales in just 1 minute

Xiaomi has already accustomed us to noteworthy initial sales successes. And according to the Chinese manufacturer, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is the brand’s new national bestseller.

The gaming smartphone was presented in the country this Wednesday, February 16. The terminal went on sale this Friday, and will have exceeded sales expectations in just 1 minute on the market.

In a poster, the brand reveals that the smartphone earned 280 million yuan (about 39 million euros) in just 1 minute on sale. However, the brand ended without revealing the specific number of units sold.

The Redmi K50 Gamign went on sale in China with a starting price of €3,299 (458 euros) in the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The variant of 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage costs the equivalent of 500 euros in the country.

The bet goes up in the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, whose value amounts to 542 euros. The Champion Edition, limited to 10,000 units, and with 12GB/256GB, costs 584 euros

Let’s remember that the Redmi K50 Gaming is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and has a 6.67 ”AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

The smartphone has a 4700 mAH battery with a 120 W charge that promises to fill the charging terminal in just 17 minutes. From the factory it arrives with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
