Xiaomi Redmi 15C 5G Unveiled in Europe: Dimensity 6300, Huge 6000mAh Battery

Xiaomi has just rolled out its new Redmi 15C 5G phone to several European countries. This follows the launch of its 4G sibling back in August 2025 in Poland. It looks like Xiaomi is making sure more people can get speedy 5G without breaking the bank.

The big change for the Redmi 15C 5G is its MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This chip is built using a 6-nanometer process. It gives the phone a solid power boost over the 4G model. The older phone used a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, made with a 12-nanometer process. That chip ran at 2.0 GHz. This new one is a clear step up for performance.

Inside the Dimensity 6300, you will find eight processing cores. Two of these are Cortex-A76 cores. They run fast at up to 2.4 GHz for demanding tasks. The other six are Cortex-A55 cores. These run at up to 2.0 GHz. They handle everyday jobs and save battery life. For graphics, the phone uses a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics chip.

This new chip works with 4 GB of fast LPDDR4X RAM. Storage options go up to 256 GB using eMMC 5.1. If you need more room, there is a slot for a MicroSD card. This means you can keep all your photos and apps easily.

The Redmi 15C 5G is a bit heavier and thicker than its 4G cousin. It weighs 211 grams, up from 205 grams. Its thickness is 8.2 mm, a small bump from 8.0 mm. However, it keeps the same large 6.9-inch LCD screen. This display has 720p+ resolution. It also boasts a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. That makes scrolling and gaming feel much better.

Powering the phone is a huge 6,000 mAh battery. It supports 33 W fast charging. This means you can top it up quickly. The phone also comes with an IP64 rating. This rating helps protect it from dust and splashes.

For taking pictures, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 lens. It can record videos at 1080p and 30 frames per second. The front-facing selfie camera is 8 megapixels with an f/2.0 lens. It records videos at the same quality.

The Redmi 15C 5G still includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It also has an FM radio receiver for those who love traditional radio. For staying connected, it supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. It uses GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou for precise location tracking. A fingerprint sensor is built into the side of the phone for easy unlocking.
