The Chinese tech company led by Lei Jun has one of the largest smartphone portfolios today with regular releases bringing new mobile devices to market. Soon we will have another phone, the Xiaomi Redmi 10.
After we first reported the first signs of its existence a few weeks ago with its appearance in a Southeast Asian retail chain, we now have more information. In fact, the terminal has just been certified by the NBTC agency.
Xiaomi Redmi 10 will arrive without 5G connection
First of all, it is important to clarify that the certification (homologation) was carried out by the NBTC agency, the regulator of the telecommunications market in Thailand. According to this entity, the new Xiaomi smartphone bears the model number 21061119AG.
With its existence thus confirmed, we also learn that the smartphone will be limited to the 4G LTE connection. Therefore, unlike most of the new smartphones of the Chinese brand, this Redmi 10 will not support 5G mobile networks.
We can also say that this certification granted by the Thai entity means that the launch of the product is imminent, at least in Thailand and possibly in the neighboring markets of Southeast Asia.
According to previous information leaks, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 will be the first launch of the brand’s new range of cheap smartphones. More specifically, the first model of the new generation of entry-level / low-end devices.
Redmi 10 main specifications
The new model stands out for its 6.5-inch diagonal screen with Full-HD + resolution and IPS LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It will be an input device, possibly the cheapest of the new range of Xiaomi smartphones. .
