THE xiaomi has a new reading lamp that does not emit blue light, one of the main causes of eyestrain. The new device was developed by Midian and financed by the Youpin platform like other products supported by Xiaomi up to that time.
It is a new ideal luminaire for the office table or study table with an elegant design and extremely captivating features for the purpose for which it is proposed. It was, by the way, nicknamed the Midian light-sensitive reading lamp.

The “heart” of this new Xiaomi lamp is a new original LED that emits a golden light. More specifically, the light source is a powerful LED that emits a yellow/gold color thanks to its silicone substrate and specific treatment.
This new lamp also adopts a double ring structure that harmonically integrates the cooler white light to work with the warmer yellow central light. The result? According to the brand, there is no harmful blue light emission.

The Xiaomi Midian Light Sensor Reading Lamp is made of metal, with plastic and acrylic elements. It has a heavier base to balance it where we also find an integrated wireless charging base.
Its secret, however, is the intelligent algorithm capable of “detecting” light, as its name implies. In this way, the lamp evaluates the ambient brightness, automatically adjusting the intensity of light emitted by its LEDs.

It’s also worth noting that the Xiaomi Midian Light Sensor Reading Lamp can maintain a constant brightness for more even illumination. When activating the smart function, the emitted light power will vary between 500 and 750 lux.
The Xiaomi lamp uses high-quality LEDs calibrated at a slightly warm color temperature, a warm white of 4000K and can reach a maximum brightness of 2000lux.
The product has a height and tilt adjustable pole for better placement, as well as a relatively large lighting area to better spread the light.
Finally, its retail price is 799 yuan, about 125 dollars in China.
At the moment, however, there is no forecast of its availability in Europe, but we have already seen several similar products arriving in Portugal as part of the lighting ecosystem Xiaomi.
