Xiaomi this week introduced four new smartphones globally. The Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. These will arrive in Portugal in the coming weeks, but the Chinese manufacturer has more to show.
According to Xiaomimiui, the POCO M4 Pro 4G will be one of the next smartphones to be released. The terminal has the code name ‘Fleur’ and the model number ‘2201117PG’. But it shouldn’t be a truly new smartphone.
POCO M4 Pro 4G will be inspired by the Redmi Note 11S, according to certification
THE Certification shows that the POCO M4 Pro 4G has the same codename and similar model number as the Redmi Note 11S unveiled on Wednesday. This indicates that it may be a renamed version of it.
It is not exactly news that POCO smartphones are inspired by Redmi. Take the example of the POCO F3, which is nothing but a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 launched in China.
The great advantage of the POCO M4 Pro 4G over the Redmi Note 11S could be the price. As with other models, a surgical cut can be made in some feature that allows this lower price.
As stated by Gizmochina, this is a global version of the smartphone. However, it may be limited to some markets in Southeast Asia where POCO has some dominance. But it is not ruled out that it will also reach Europe.
In any case, we can expect news from POCO soon. The Xiaomi sub-brand has not yet presented any news in 2022, and surely February or March will be months of news.
