This same manufacturer will also be working, at the same time, on new smartphones with fast charging of up to 200 W. That is, a specific smartphone with fast charging of 200 W will be able to fully charge the battery (0% to 100%) in just 12 minutes, something unprecedented in the smartphone market in 2022.
Note that this same filter mentions that the manufacturer is preparing a charging standard and its charger at 240 W, while the iQOO 10 Pro smartphone should have a limit of 200 W for charging power. However, the next step will be to put the maximum standard at the service of consumers, generalizing, or facilitating charging at 240 W.

The iQOO 10 Pro smartphone should arrive during the second half of July with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, according to the same source. On the other hand, it is not certain that iQOO is the first manufacturer to introduce the 240 W charging standard. It is a great possibility, but we remember that OPPO has also been working in this segment.

In short, whether from the hand of iQOO or OPPO, Xiaomi or another manufacturer, the truth is that the charging speeds of smartphones will continue to increase to make our day-to-day life easier. However, we expect that these advances will be accompanied by improvements in the safety and durability of the components, namely the batteries.
