Both mobile devices will bet, above all, on the camera to stand out from the current Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. In addition, we can also have the Xiaomi 12 Ultra with a strong focus on cameras that will arrive during the first quarter of 2022, but possibly still without the new Surge C2 chip which will be developed by Chinese technology.
Surge C2 chip will be Xiaomi’s next smartphone ISP

Xiaomi MIX 5 will arrive with the new Xiaomi Surge C2 chip

For the Xiaomi MIX 5, there is also a 50 MP camera with OIS, and another camera with double optical magnification (zoom) and a resolution of 48 MP. You can also have a fourth 48 MP camera with 0.6x ultra-wide-angle optics.
For the Xiaomi MIX 5 Pro, the main camera will feature 50 MP OIS (optical stabilization), with the auxiliary cameras featuring 48 MP (with OIS) and up to 5x optical magnification. It will also have another 50 MP auxiliary sensor with an ultra wide angle lens.
For these mobile devices, Chinese technology will need to use IMX707 and IMX766 sensors, both made by Sony. Finally, the MIX 5 generation could arrive in March, supplying the role and launch of the possible Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
