Xiaomi is preparing to present the new model of smart television or Smart TV next Thursday, the My TV 5X. Now, we learn that this model will bring speakers with 40 W of power, in addition to a competitive price, among other attributes.
The product, Xiaomi Mi TV 5X, will be officially unveiled during the Smarter Living 2022 event, mainly dedicated to the Indian market. However, given Xiaomi’s track record, it is likely that it will also reach more markets such as Europe.

The Chinese manufacturer, in effect, has unveiled several of the attributes of its next product. We already knew it would be a cost-effective Smart TV with good picture quality and metal profile, modern and updated design, but now we have more information.
According to Xiaomi itself, the Mi TV 5X will have included speakers with 40 W of power for a stereo effect. The confirmation came in the form of cheep visible above with the small video where we also see the general profile of the new Xiaomi TV.
More specifically, Xiaomi announces that the TV will have the Dolby Atmos certification, so the included sound system will already be quite satisfactory. Even so, most consumers will also choose Sound bar complementary.
The new Mi TV 5X will be presented at the Smarter Living 2022 event
The event will take place on Thursday, August 26 in India at 12 noon (local). We also have a live stream, so anyone who wants to follow the news on YouTube will probably be able to do that too.
This event is also expected to mark the entry of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 bracelet in the Indian market. At the same time, we can get more information about the possible availability of the NFC version of the Mi Band 6 outside of China, which is an exclusive market so far.
Finally, for the moment we know that Xiaomi Mi TV 5X will have bezels or metal frame, with an extremely slim profile on three of the edges. To this is added a panel with Ultra-HD (4K) resolution, as well as the Android TV operating system.
Pricing is currently unknown as availability may be available outside of India. Currently, the cheapest Xiaomi Smart TV is the 32-inch Mi TV 4A model, costing this € 271.95 on Amazon.ES.
