Xiaomi announced the new range of smart TVs Xiaomi Mi TV 5X during the My Smarter Living 2022 event. The occasion was marked by the presentation of new products in India, many of which are also expected to finally be launched in Europe.
Still, the star of the event was Xiaomi’s new range of Smart TVs, with three new 43-, 50- and 55-inch models. These new televisions are Xiaomi’s answer to Samsung’s Crystal 4K Pro UHD line and the OnePlus U1S range of televisions.
The new Xiaomi Smart TVs are available in 45 ”, 50 ” and 55 ”
The Xiaomi Mi TV 5X range is made up of three models with the aforementioned dimensions and characteristics identical to each other. In fact, the main difference is the size of the screen, as well as the power of the audio system (speakers) included in each Smart TV.
First of all, the resolution of the new Xiaomi TVs is 3840 x 2160 pixels, thus reaching the 4K standard. The panels used by the brand provide 10-bit color, 94% coverage of the DCI P3 color space, Dolby Vision certification, HDR10 +, HDR, HLG, as well as the Vivid Picture Engine 2 standard.
The differences lie mainly in the audio system and the respective power of each model. So in the 43-inch model we have 30 W of sound power, while the 50 and 55-inch models deliver 40 W, respectively.
It should also be noted that these speakers are Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD certified on all three Mi TV 5X models.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 5X range features a premium design
The Xiaomi Mi TV 5X range features a premium metal-driven construction and bezel slim. It is, in fact, a modern and elegant design, capable of being mounted on the wall, or supported on a shelf, or mobile with the base included in each television.
Connectivities are equally respected. In fact, there are three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, and an Ethernet port for connecting to the Internet.
We also have an optical port, AV port, codec H.265, 3.5mm audio jack port, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi for wireless Internet access.

The “heart” of the Mi TV 5X is the MediaTek processor four cores with Cortex-A55 cores and 64-bit architecture. The chip is accompanied by Mali-G52 MP2 graphics, with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The navigation interface is Xiaomi’s PatchWall user interface, with some improvements and optimizations for the new smart TVs. It has new features such as recommendations, child mode, parental controls, IMDb integration, among other advantages.
We can also highlight the remote control with intuitive controls and an improved build quality.
Price and availability of Xiaomi Mi TV 5X
Currently available in India we have three models of the new Xiaomi Smart TV. The 43-inch model costs the equivalent of $ 431, roughly 367 euros. So the 50-inch model costs the equivalent of $ 566, roughly 482 euros.
Finally, the top 55-inch model costs the equivalent of $ 647 or 550 euros. The values ​​have been converted at the current exchange rate.
The new televisions are already available in the Indian market and can reach more regions of the world. At the moment, however, Xiaomi has revealed information about it.
