This Tuesday the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 was finally presented. This represents the vision of the Chinese brand for the future of the industry, being the first from the manufacturer to arrive with a front camera built into the screen.
It is also the first in the world to be equipped with the Snapdragon 888+ processor. Also worth noting is the fact that it comes with ultra-fast 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, and upholds the tradition of ceramic construction.
But at the end of the day, what is the interior of the Mi MIX 4 like and what are the secrets it hides? That’s what tech blogger Robin wanted to find out, through a video posted on the social network Weibo (in Chinese).
From dual battery to under-display camera
As soon as the ceramic and metal structure of the smartphone is removed, we find components such as the cameras, the wireless charging coil and the part of the double battery in sight. When this area is discovered, components such as the columns or the vibration motor are seen in more detail.
But it is on the screen, or below it, that we find the highlights of the smartphone. The front camera is located in the top center of the device and is only visible in certain lighting conditions.
This beautifully polished product exemplifies what Xiaomi has always wanted to achieve with this line: uninterrupted screen experience. Too bad the smartphone will only be officially sold with Chinese ROM.
