Errors occur when placing prices online. But some can be much more expensive than others for brands. And the latest mistake made by Xiaomi could be costly for the Chinese manufacturer.
According to the Chinese website My Drivers, the official Xiaomi Wall platform will have placed the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro for a surreal price. The terminal never reached Europe, but in China its price ranges from 647 euros (4,999 yuan) to 738 euros (5,699 yuan).
Xiaomi wanted to put Mi 11 Pro with a discount of € 91, but sold it at that price for a few minutes
On its platform, Xiaomi intended to put the Mi 11 Pro on sale at a discount of € 91 (700 yuan). By mistake, what the manufacturer ended up doing was putting the equipment on sale for the same price.
The news spread, and according to MyDrivers, many users will have been able to take advantage of the error to buy the smartphone for that price for a few minutes. The question now refers to how Xiaomi will deal with what happened.
It remains to be seen if the manufacturer will assume the error and take a large loss, confirming these purchases as valid. The likely scenario is that the manufacturer simply returns the money to the buyers and declares that the purchases are invalid.
In case the purchases are not canceled, it is simply surreal that a real top of the range is bought for only € 91. Remember that the Mi 11 Pro is a smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor.
This terminal also has the Samsung GN2 50MP as its main sensor, and a 120Hz AMOLED screen with 6.81 ”inches. Not only does it have a 5000mAh battery, it also has a 67W fast charge.
