The budget smartphone market just got a boost with the launch of Xiaomi’s latest offering, the Redmi A5. Starting at just 6,499 Indian Rupees, this phone packs some impressive features that are typically found in mid-range devices.

The Redmi A5 boasts a 6.88-inch LCD screen with an HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for smooth visuals. The display also features 240Hz touch sampling rate, DC Dimming technology, and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye comfort. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the UNISOC T7250 chipset, built on a 12nm process and featuring an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz. It comes with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, running on Android 15.
