Xiaomi has just launched the new e-book reader, InkPalm Plus, which will become indispensable for all users who have a hobby of reading.

Xiaomi has a very varied and numerous portfolio of equipment that is updated frequently. Now is the time for your eBook readers to get a new addition to the family, InkPalm Plus.
The new reader has a 5.84-inch screen, an electronic ink panel and 24 brightness levels. But the highlight goes straight to the front lighting that facilitates longer reading sessions.
In turn, the included 2,200 mAh battery, in addition to providing autonomy of up to 30 days in full operation, can also be fully charged in two and a half hours.
The embedded operating system is based on Android 11 and the new InkPalm Plus also provides compatibility with many third-party apps.
The new Xiaomi e-book reader has the RK3566 processor that is complemented by 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. On this last point, the Chinese brand could have been more generous, since a larger capacity would be more useful for readers.
Connectivity is ensured by the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5. But possibly one of its biggest selling points is the fact that it’s thinner and lighter than its direct rival Amazon Kindle.
For now it is only available in the Chinese market for approximately 150 euros, but it seems that its global launch will take place later this year, on a date to be announced.
