Xiaomi has just launched the Mi Smart 2 PTZ camera with human silhouette detection and real-time voice call capability.
The new home camera of the Chinese brand also allows users to have a panoramic view of the home room.

It’s one of Xiaomi’s latest home launches and it couldn’t be more useful. This is the new Mi Smart 2 PTZ smart home camera. The model, with a Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) design, allows the camera to rotate 360 degrees horizontally and 180 degrees vertically to provide a panoramic view of the space in which it is located.
On the other hand, it supports voice calls, through connection to a samrtphone and the Mijia application, in real time and the built-in microphones integrate noise reduction technology for calls with clear and precise audio.
With a resolution of 2.5K, Xiaomi’s new home camera includes human detection
The resolution has been updated, so the new Xiaomi Mi Smart 2 PTZ now offers 2560×1440 pixels of resolution, that is 2.5K. The large aperture f / 1.4 lens, in turn, doubles the amount of light, allowing you to see space almost as if it were in place.
But best of all, it can detect human silhouettes automatically and quickly. This can prevent many false alarms caused by pets. In terms of connectivity, it has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
In addition, it stores all the collected data on the microSD memory card of up to 256 GB, in addition to offering free and unlimited cloud storage. For now it is only available in the Chinese market at an approximate cost of 30 euros.
