Xiaomi has just launched a new 120 W charger with an approximate cost of 40 euros.
More and more, companies are betting on this type of product, due to its smaller format, and the Chinese manufacturer seems to want to dominate this market.
Xiaomi’s new charger disperses heat and is equipped with a smart identification chip
A short time ago, the Xiaomi charger with the number MDY-13-ET passed the 3C certification and the Chinese manufacturer wasted no time putting it on the Chinese market, now launching it for a very attractive price of approximately 40 euros.
According to Xiaomi, the new 120W GaN charger integrates a high-frequency flat transformer module and is capable of dispersing heat. It is also equipped with a smart identification chip and various security options.
The new integrated 120W Xiaomi GaN USB Type-C port allows you to charge any compatible device. The launch of this product comes after the presentation of the Redmi Note 11 Pro + which is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast charging of exactly 120W.
Several companies, including Xiaomi, have focused on manufacturing GaN chargers due to their small format. It should also be noted that this type of charger has less heat loss than equipment made with silicone.
On the other hand, GaN chargers have also proven to be more efficient at transferring current. Starting on November 1, Xiaomi’s new GaN charger will be available for sale in the Chinese market for around 40 euros. The brand did not provide information on its availability in Europe.
