Xiaomi appeared to be one of the few companies that survived the consequences of the current component shortage unscathed. Unfortunately for her, this apparent immunity is no longer felt on her production lines.
Xiaomi stops production of Redmi Note 10
It was through Xiaomi Indonesia that we learned about the interruption in production of the Redmi Note 10. The entry-level model of this mid-range family is currently sold in that market and should remain that way for a while longer.
The company disclosed not having potato chips enough to continue the production of the Redmi Note 10. In fact, its production is currently discontinued and there is still no forecast that it will resume.
In that market, Xiaomi has already started encouraging consumers to opt for another element of the Redmi Note 10 family. Still, there is no guarantee that these models will also be discontinued soon.
For now, only Indonesia reports that the Redmi Note 10 is not available in their stores. In Portugal and other European markets it is still possible to acquire this model, but nothing guarantees that in the coming days we will also be affected by the interruption in the production of the equipment.
This news raises alarms that other Xiaomi devices may be similarly affected by the current shortage of components. It would not be the first manufacturer to not have enough production to meet the needs of the market.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 comes equipped with the Snapdragon 678 processor, up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD + resolution.
At its rear it has four 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP cameras. On the front, in perforated camera format on the screen, we have a 13 MP sensor: Its battery is 5000 mAh and it has fast charging at 33W.
If you are interested in buying this mid-range, you better hurry to make that purchase. At any time, this model may also be discontinued in Europe.
