Xiaomi Civi is official: Xiaomi’s new mid-range that will get people talking

As promised, this Monday started with a presentation announced by Xiaomi. The manufacturer presented the new Xiaomi Civi smartphone, a mid-range device with a premium design.

For starters, this new smartphone that is now presented is powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor. Added to this are the options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi Civi has curved 120Hz AMOLED screen

The curved panel is another of the interesting points of the terminal. We are talking about a 6.55 ”inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10 + and Dolby Vision.

On that same screen there is a 32MP front camera placed in a punched hole, which will be perfect for selfies. At the rear we find a 64MP main sensor, 2MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor.

The battery of the new Xiaomi Civi is 4500mAh, promising Xiaomi that it will have the best autonomy of a device of the brand in 2021. The fast charge will be 55W, enough for a device in this segment.

It is important to note that it is a smartphone with support for 5G, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen. It weighs just 166 grams and is 6.98mm thick.

Prices and availability of Xiaomi Civi:

The new Xiaomi Civi, for now, was only presented in China. The basic 8GB + 128GB version is priced at the equivalent of € 370 (2799 yuan). Its 8GB + 256GB variant costs 410 €, while the 12GB + 256GB version will arrive in 450 € (3399 yuan). It will be available in black, gold and blue.
