Xiaomi is one of the biggest powers in the global smartphone market. In recent years, the maker of Lei Jun has conquered global markets with its cost / benefit smartphones by flaunting its MIUI.
In fact, this user interface is one of the selling points of your Android smartphones and attracts more users. However, since the arrival of MIUI 12, problems began for the Chinese manufacturer. This version was plagued with problems.
MIUI 12 brought various problems to Xiaomi smartphones
The first MIUI 12 distributions were famous for their instability and diversity of insects or errors presented. And, although Xiaomi has already corrected most of these obstacles, new problems would successively arise in MIUI 12.
This would lead Xiaomi to develop and launch an incremental version of MIUI 12, the recent MIUI 12.5 that effectively solved most of the problems. Still, some users claim that this version did not live up to the expectations created.
Complaints and discontent are evident in the manufacturer’s official forum where the climate of discontent, despite being more moderate, remains latent. Given the above, it is in the next version, MIUI 13, where a great responsibility is deposited.
MIUI 13 will have to fix all the bugs of MIUI 12.5
Therefore, the next version of the interface has an additional responsibility. Not only will it have to make up for the flaws in the current version, but it will also have the arduous task of gaining the public’s trust – something the Chinese manufacturer is fully aware of.
In fact, considering that MIUI 13 is still in the initial stage of development, and will not reach the public domain until the end of the year, the technology has already launched an alternative. It’s called MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version.
It is an improved version, in the literal translation of the Enhanced Version and will soon begin to arrive on Xiaomi smartphones.
An apology in the form of an improved version of MIUI 12.5
The announcement was made by Jin Fan, accompanied by an apology to Xiaomi users during the manufacturer’s latest press conference. There, the MIUI manager acknowledged that the interface did not meet expectations.
Having sinned by the lack of optimization and good functioning of some of the functions, the current versions of MIUI would end up not pleasing to the users. A fact recently (10) publicly recognized by the brand that has already proposed a solution.
This is how the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version slogan is launched, a result of the work carried out during the last six months. According to the manufacturer, the new version will fix a total of 160 general problems, as well as 240 problems in system applications.
Finally, this version will also bring general optimizations and fixes for other background problems. The improved version of MIUI 12.5 is expected to start shipping on August 13.
