Xiaomi 13 Ultra: this is the worldwide release date

It was already known that the global launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be imminent, but now the Chinese brand has confirmed the exact date on which the model will be presented to the world.

All the previously published rumors suggested that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be presented globally at the beginning of the summer. And today this information was confirmed by Xiaomi itself.

The Chinese brand has just announced that next Thursday, June 8, the almighty of photography will be officially presented to the rest of the world’s markets. Xiaomi created a microsite for the occasion, where the countdown to the event is taking place.

Meanwhile, the advantages offered to users who first buy the terminal were also announced. Those who purchase the model will be able to enjoy free subscriptions for three months of YouTube Premium and six months of Google One 100GB.

However, rumors spread this week have already revealed that the model could reach the European market at a cost of more than 1,200 euros. On a Dutch retail site, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra was spotted priced at €1,299, while on a German retail site, the model was listed for €1,277.

So far, all the sources indicate that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will hit the global market with the same core specifications as the Chinese variant. The highlight, of course, is its rear camera setup.

In this module is the one-inch Sony IMX989, with 50-megapixel resolution and even a variable aperture from f/1.9 to f/4.0 as the main sensor. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 122-degree field of view, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor and 3.2x optical zoom, and also a 50-megapixel periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom.

Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, as well as a 5000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.

In addition, it also has a 6.73-inch screen with Quad HD + resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits.
