Last year, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, stated that the brand’s next Ultra smartphone would be unveiled globally. These statements came after the launch of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which has just appeared in China. Now the promises will be fulfilled.
In a post on social networks, Xiaomi confirmed the official presentation event of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The new smartphone will be presented next Tuesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. in Lisbon.
As can be seen in the image posted by Xiaomi, the smartphone does not match the design of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. It will arrive with a circular camera module, just like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
In the last few hours, the first alleged live image of the smartphone has been revealed, and even unofficial versions of it. Which means that the design we see in these images should not escape reality.
The smartphone is expected to have no less than four 50 MP rear cameras: main, ultra-wide, telephoto, and periscope. Everything indicates that the main sensor will be the well-known 1-inch Sony IMX989.
In terms of performance, the brand must remain faithful to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is still the most powerful Android processor on the market. In the battery field, 4900 mAh is expected, with 90 W of wired charging and 50 W of wireless charging.
In any case, we will know all the details already on April 18.
