Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched its high-end smartphones for 2022. We are talking about the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. But just like the previous year, the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected soon.
The next series of high-end smartphones from the Chinese brand is expected to arrive between the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023: the Xiaomi 13. Anticipating this launch, the first rumors about them are beginning to emerge.
Xiaomi 13 should arrive with Samsung E6 panel
According to the most recent publication of filter digital chat station, the smartphone screen will be better than the previous generation. For starters, it will be a 2K panel with even smaller margins.
The most substantive part is that luminescent material will be used in a Samsung E6 panel. This receives improvements in its light efficiency and also in the rate of blue light compared to the previous generation E5 that we find in the Xiaomi 12.
However, users can expect a front end design similar to the previous generation. That means a curved screen on the sides, with a central hole for the front camera. The jump to 12-bit color depth and support for 4 billion colors is expected.
Xiaomi 13 with ceramic back version
Apparently, two types of materials are expected on the back of the Xiaomi 13. In addition to the traditional glass back, users can expect at least one ceramic version.
Another more than obvious detail in the Xiaomi Series 13 will be the processor. These are expected to use the second-generation Snapdragon 8, which will launch closer to the end of this year.
As with any advanced rumor at this point, we should look at this data with a “pinch of salt”.
