The Xiaomi 13 Pro is the latest high-end smartphone from the tech giant. Presented in Barcelona at the end of February, it arrived in Portuguese stores in the last few days. And of course, it has already been tested by DxOMark experts.
According to tests on cameras developed in collaboration with Leica, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is not so Pro. The team was ranked 16th in the world camera ranking, with 136 points.

The device turns out to be behind its predecessor Mi 11 Ultra (141 points), and far behind the current leader of the table Honor Magic5 Pro (152 points). But that doesn’t mean it’s not one of the best cameras on the market.
Strengths of the Xiaomi 13 Pro camera
- Good exposure and detail in photos and video.
- Wide dynamic range even in low light photos
- Neutral white balance in bright light, generally pleasing color
- Good quality zoom at short and medium telephoto settings
Xiaomi 13 Pro camera weaknesses
- Some exposure instabilities and tonal compression in high contrast scenes
- ‘Halo’ artifacts in photos
- Frequent delays between clicking the shutter button and capturing the image, especially in high contrast conditions
- Some autofocus glitches
The Xiaomi 13 Pro did well in DxOMark tests, with good exposure, colors, and details in both photos and video. Compared to the leader in the table, it loses out in exposure and texture in photos, and in exposure and focus stability in video.
