The next generation of high-end Xiaomi smartphones should be presented in late September or early October at the latest. However, the famous filter Evan Blass, responsible for the Twitter profile @evleaks shared several digital images, aliases yield Of Xiaomi 12Tas well as the most advanced model, the Xiaomi 12T Pro.
Both Android smartphones should share most of the technical specifications, with the main differences expected to lie in the processor used as well as camera features. Please note, however, that for the time being we need official confirmation of everything mentioned here.
This is the general appearance of the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro smartphones
Above we can see the original quota of blah with the new smartphones in black and light blue. However the filter Roland Quandt, responsible for the Twitter profile @rquandt, came to share even more images of upcoming Android smartphones.
Notably, we can see below the aesthetically identical Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro smartphones, sharing the same body and build, now in the silver color scheme. Apparently, these are the advertising images of mobile devices.
Black, blue and gray will be the colors of the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro
Quandt also advances the main technical characteristics of both products on his blogWinFuture.dewith the same images that we can see in the tweet. Therefore, we will have two new Android smartphones with a very familiar look.
Look at the strong similarities with the current Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro (and even the 12X), which we can currently find in stores. The improvements will thus be concentrated inside the new smartphones of the Chinese brand.
Xiaomi will highlight the 200 MP camera (Samsung sensor) of the new 12T
Looking at the digital images, we can see the 200 MP indication just below the dual-LED flash on the main camera, on the rear. There we will find a main sensor of 200 MP (wide angle) + 8 MP (ultra wide angle) + 2 MP (macro).
In addition, we will have a 20 MP front camera perforating the 6.67-inch diagonal screen, AMOLED technology with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and 2K resolution, that is, 2712 × 1220 pixels.
The user processors will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 for the Xiaomi 12T Pro model, while the Xiaomi 12 T should opt for the MediaTek Dimension 8100 Ultra. In addition, we have up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory.
On the other hand, the internal storage should reach 256 GB UFS 3.1 in both models, with a 5,000 mAh battery and fast charging at 120 W in both models. It remains to be seen, however, whether the USB adapter/charger will be present in the box.
The price can reach €849 in Europe for the Xiaomi 12T Pro
According to leaks, in Europe, the Pro model can cost up to €849. The base model, Xiaomi 12T, can start at the €649 on our continent. In Portugal, however, we have an extra €20 to €30 on each product.
We can also count on the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, dual speakers, Bluetooth 5.2 connection, Wi-Fi 6, in addition to the infrared port, on top of smartphones.
In short, the main difference between both Android smartphones may be the processor model used. It is, for the moment, impossible to be sure as we lack official confirmation from Xiaomi.
