Xiaomi 12 Ultra may arrive with a 5X optical zoom periscope lens
The Digital Chat Station leaker has already stated in the past that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra should arrive with a very similar set of cameras to its predecessor. Now he assures that the team will have a periscope telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom.
This means that you will have a higher quality telephoto sensor. And in this it seems quite plausible that Xiaomi decides to put its Surge processor, for improvements in photographic quality. There are also rumors that Leica may also be involved in the camera system of this smartphone.
In an image shared by the Gizmochina website, we saw what the design chosen for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra could look like. In this we find a circular chamber system with four chambers. At the front we see a curved screen on the sides, with a central hole for the camera.
The same source says that the smartphone should arrive with a 6.6-inch 2K resolution AMOLED panel. Apparently, it will not have a secondary screen like the previous generation and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Wired charging of no less than 120W is expected.
