This Tuesday Xiaomi took the stage to present its high-end smartphones for 2022 worldwide. We are talking about the Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
The latter is the most powerful of the line and promises to conquer many hearts in Portugal. In this article we delve into this model to tell you all the news of this release.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate
The Xiaomi 12 Pro arrives to directly compete with the iPhone 13 Pro Max in performance and size. It has a 6.73-inch AMOLED panel that promises to please those who like large smartphones.
It has WQHD+ (or 2K) resolution of up to 3200 by 1400 pixels. It has a maximum brightness of 1500 bits and a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz. The touch sampling rate is up to 480 Hz. In addition to support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10+, it received the Display Mate A+ distinction.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has 3 cameras of 50 MP
In photographic terms, it has a 50 MP wide-angle main camera with an IMX707 sensor. It supports 8K recording or 4K HDR 10+ recording, and has Ultra Night video mode, AI one-click cinema, Xiaomi ProFocus and ultra night portrait mode.
The secondary camera is a 50 MP ultra wide angle camera with a 115º field of view. Closing out the bouquet is a 50MP telephoto camera, equivalent to 48mm. This one has a 2x optical zoom.
The front camera of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is 32 MP and is housed in a central hole in the screen. It features HDR 10+ recording, AI portrait video, and night selfie mode.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the heart of Xiaomi 12 Pro
The smartphone is powered by a 4-gauge Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, with support for 5G. It will be supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 4,600mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It can also reverse charge other equipment to 10W. Supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E and Dual SIM.
As for the sound, you can count on four symmetrical speakers. These have Harman Kardon sound and support for Dolby Atmos. The smartphone arrives with MIUI 13 on Android 12.
Xiaomi 12 Pro prices and availability in the UK
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will be available in Portugal in two versions in grey, purple and blue. The 8GB + 256GB version will cost €1,049.99 and the 12GB + 256GB variant will cost €1,099.99.
Pre-sales start on March 21 and general sales on April 1.
