Xbox Gamepass Core has launched and replaces Xbox Live Gold. The final list of included games is now known and Microsoft has added a few more titles since the announcement in July. These games are currently included in Xbox Gamepass Core:

Microsoft has introduced a new subscription level in Game Pass and at the same time sealed the end of Xbox Live Gold. Game Pass Core will be available from September 14, 2023 and will cost 6.99 euros per month or 59.99 euros per year. Compared to the regular Game Pass, the Game Pass Core contains significantly fewer games; Microsoft says there are around 25. Most of them are already known, and more are expected to be added before the launch in September.
After 10 years – Xbox Live Gold is being replaced
Game Pass Core directly replaces Xbox Live Gold, a model that gives subscribers permanent access to two monthly games. Game Pass Core costs the same as Xbox Live Gold, but the usage model changes: Instead of two new games per month, there is now access to a library of around 25 games. This means that the Xbox Live branding, which was introduced with the first Xbox in 2002, will finally disappear.
Microsoft
Existing Xbox Live Gold memberships will automatically convert to Game Pass Core on the September 2023 deadline. Access to deals and discounts will continue, as will Xbox 360 games available via Games with Gold were redeemed. However, this does not apply to Xbox One games from the same source; these can only be played for as long as a Game Pass membership exists.
