Xbox gains features with Edge update

Microsoft just announced several new features for the Xbox world, among which we discovered that the browser update brings more features to the console.

The faster and safer browsing experience, as well as mouse support, are now a reality for the Microsoft console.

Browser Edge will be updated on all Xbox consoles

Microsoft has announced several new features for its console, one of which is that all versions of Xbox will have a built-in update of the Edge browser to its latest version.

With this update, the Microsoft console will now provide mouse and keyboard support. Which means that the user can make use of productivity applications on the console. Outside there is microphone support for chat applications.

On the other hand, this update will also offer “faster and more secure browsing directly in the console”, Microsoft guarantees in its announcement.

From now on, if a game opens a new tooltip or guide window on the Edge, you can send it to another connected device to continue the game without any interruption.

Xbox Cloud Gaming beta version available in Portugal

Another novelty is that the beta version of Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available through the Xbox application on Windows 10 in 22 countries, including Portugal. Which means that the user can play on their PC through the cloud, without having to download.

The Play Later list for Xbox Game Pass is another news worth mentioning. With this feature, players can create and save a list with games of interest. Later, they can consult the list and play the titles in which they showed interest.
