The CEO and co-founder of deporvillage, Xavier Pladellorensleaves the company after 12 years at the helm, a period in which, together with Angel Corcuera has managed to position his startup as one of the main online operators of sports equipment specialized in Europe. It is expected that, in the coming months, Corcuera follow the same steps and also leave the company.
Until now, the CEO and CPO, Pladellorens and Corcuera, respectively, have decided that the time has come to hand over the management of the company to ISRG Group –JD Sports, Sprinter and Sport Zone-, which has entrusted its relief to directors of the group.
According to the words of pladellorens, “Life is made up of stages and today the most intense and exciting of my life ends. I take with me some experiences that I could not have imagined 12 years ago when we founded the company. Now it’s time to take some time to think about what to do in this new stage, which I hope will also be very interesting».
