The social network X, formerly known as Twitter, has introduced two new functions to create ads from generative AI. These functions, designed to simplify the advertising process, are part of the platform’s efforts to enhance its advertising capabilities. To utilize these features, advertisers will need to employ the GRAK GEN TOOL, a platform-specific tool that not only helps develop ads but also analyze their performance.
The two new functions are ‘Prefill with Grok’ and ‘Analyze Campaign With Grok’. The ‘Prefill with Grok’ feature, currently available to select advertisers in X Ads Manager, scans a brand’s website and automatically generates advertising text, images, and a call-to-action (CTA) tailored to the company. Advertisers have the flexibility to edit the generated text or change the image as needed. On the other hand, ‘Analyze Campaign With Grok’ leverages generative AI technology to analyze the results of different advertising campaigns, providing valuable insights for campaign optimization.
In a statement, the social network emphasized its commitment to creating a new ecosystem where all advertisers can thrive. This includes recent integrations, such as with Shopify, which simplifies product promotion for merchants, and the forthcoming ‘Quick Promote’ function, designed to boost posts with just a few clicks. According to X, this ecosystem is driven by cutting-edge technology and aims to support the success of all advertisers.
Grok 3, the Most Intelligent AI in the World
This announcement comes on the heels of Elon Musk’s introduction of Grok 3, the latest version of the AI developed by XAI, a company Musk founded in 2023. Grok 3 is touted as a family of language models that, according to Musk, make it “the smartest AI in the world.” This newest iteration will be integrated with the Deep Search search engine and is expected to outperform OpenAI’s GPT-4 in certain tests of reasoning.
Initially, Grok 3 will be available to premium+ level subscribers of X, while some of its advanced features will be restricted to a new plan called ‘Supergrok’. This upgraded plan unlocks additional reasoning consultations, access to Deepsearch, and unlimited image generation. Further plans include making the Grok 3 models available through the XAI Application Programming Interface (API) within weeks, alongside Deepsearch. The source code of Grok 2 is also slated for release in the coming months, indicating a commitment to openness and development in the AI community.
