Meanwhile, on Friday, the BCCI also shared a video of a special drill in which the Indian players were seen practicing the catch.
In the video shared by the BCCI, players of the Indian team are seen practicing a special style of catching by circling the staff. The video was shared describing it as a fun exercise. Umesh Yadav, Akshar Patel and Shardul Thakur were seen in this. Earlier on Thursday, the BCCI shared some images on the official Twitter account showing the players and coaches of the Indian team wearing the new training kit. There was recently a change in the team’s kit sponsor. For this reason, everyone’s jersey has changed from training to playing.
The test will be held at the Oval
The India team will play a non-England team for the first time at the Oval. Here, the Indian team has played a total of 14 test matches before this one. The India team was beaten by New Zealand in Southampton in the final of the last World Test Championship. This time the challenge of the kangaroos is in front of the Indian team. The Kangaroo team was recently defeated by the Indian team in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. After that, this time facing Team India at Oval, there is a chance to heal the wounds from the previous defeat. If this Rohit Sharma-led team wins, then it can add another ICC trophy to India’s name.
