WTC Final 2023: Team India counterattack on day three, Rahane and Shardul made Kangaroos sweat

The final match of the World Test Championship is being played between India and Australia at Kennington Oval in London. As of the lunch of the third day, Team India has scored 260 runs from 6 wickets. Ajinkya Rahane is playing with 89 and Shardul Thakur with 36 runs. The Indian team is now just 209 runs behind Australia.

In the first over of the third day, Scott Boland delivered a huge blow to Team India. Boland dropped India’s sixth wicket by dismissing KS Bharat. Bharat was sacked after scoring just five runs in an aggregate score of 152. After this, Shardul and Rahane changed the whole story.

There has been a partnership of 108 runs on 133 balls between Rahane and Shardul. 4 fours have come off Shardul’s bat. While Rahane has hit 11 fours and one six.
