KT Rolster and Anyone’s Legend have secured the first two playoff berths at the League of Legends Worlds 2025, each advancing with an undefeated 3-0 record through the Swiss Stage. The victories, achieved early Friday, marked the initial qualifications for the tournament’s knockout rounds.
South Korea’s KT Rolster, the third seed from its region, dominated China’s third seed, TOP Esports (TES), with a decisive 2-0 win. Their performance showcased a clear path through the Swiss Stage without dropping a single game in their qualifying match.
Taiwanese team CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) faced Anyone’s Legend (AL) in the second decisive qualifier. AL mounted a comeback, ultimately defeating CFO 2-1 to claim the second undefeated spot in the playoffs.
Both TES and CFO, despite their losses, will remain in contention for the playoffs. They drop into the 2-1 bracket, awaiting the outcomes of Saturday’s matches to determine their next opponents.
