World News: Tensions have escalated between the two countries after a drone was shot down in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Japan has announced that it can prepare to evacuate its citizens from Taiwan at any time. Senior Japanese politician Minoru Kihara said Japanese lawmakers and the Taiwanese government have agreed to begin talks on how to evacuate Japanese citizens in the event of a possible Chinese invasion of the island. Looking at the situation in both the countries, it seems that if the situation does not improve, then China can attack Taiwan at any time. However, the likelihood of a large-scale war erupting between China and Taiwan is slim. Despite this, China’s aggressive policies have blown the senses of the whole world.

Japan will contact Taiwan

As reported by Kyodo News, Japanese lawmaker Minoru Kihara said that as such, Japan has no diplomatic relations with democratic Taiwan. In such a situation, instead of the Japanese government, a delegation will take action. The same team of MPs is trying to contact the government of Taiwan directly. The agreement for this dialogue was reached during the recent visit of Japanese parliamentarians to Taiwan. Japanese lawmakers visited the island after US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.

Relations between China and Japan are sour

Minoru Kihara will strengthen Japan-Taiwan ties. He is the general secretary of a cross party group. A delegation of Japanese parliamentarians led by him reached Taiwan. China considers Taiwan as its part from the very beginning. The island also strongly opposes relations with any other country. There is already a dispute between Japan and China. In such a situation, Japan has not officially recognized Taiwan to avoid further deterioration of relations.

Will Japan come between China and Taiwan?

Let us tell you that there are more than 20 thousand Japanese citizens living in Taiwan. Japan usually sends planes of Self Defense Forces to evacuate its citizens in case of emergency in another country. It is currently unclear whether Japanese military aircraft can land in Taiwan during the war, which China claims as its territory. However, private planes and ships could be used for evacuation before the Chinese invasion. In such a situation, Japan wants to work out a comprehensive plan with Taiwan to evacuate Japanese citizens as soon as possible in the event of an attack.
