World Malaria Day is being observed today across the world including Pakistan.

According to the World Health Organization, malaria is going to get worse due to climate change, the worst floods in Pakistan have increased the number of malaria cases.

According to the WHO, more than 6 months have passed since the devastating floods in Pakistan and this climate change is affecting malaria, which has led to an increase in malaria cases from the worst floods in Pakistan.

According to Peter Sands, Global Director of Malaria and AIDS of the World Health Organization, climate change is affecting malaria. In 2021, 619,000 people died from malaria worldwide, while malaria cases increased 4 times to 1.6 million last year.

Petersands said floods in Pakistan and cyclones in Malawi have bred mosquitoes, leading to a sharp increase in malaria infections and deaths.
