The ODI World Cup 2023 will be organized in India. It is a great gift for the Indian cricket fans that this time all the matches of the Mahakumbh of Cricket will be organized only in India. Top venues such as Delhi, Lucknow, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Dharamshala, Pune and Kolkata have been selected for this. The Indian team will play at all nine venues except Hyderabad. In such a situation, there will inevitably be enthusiasm for tickets among the Indian fans. Ticket sales for the tournament have started. On the other hand, news of a website crash broke on day one, on Friday.

The site remained closed until 35-40

The sale of tickets for the ODI World Cup started on Friday, but the official website crashed for 35 to 40 minutes, PTI reported. Since the app and website weren’t working, fans faced major difficulties booking tickets during this period. Ticket sales started very late and from the very first day the sale was for matches where India is not taking part. However, the trial began at 8 p.m. local time and shortly after, fans complained about the Book My Show app crashing. The app is a ticketing partner for the soccer World Cup from October 5th.

fans disappointed

“It’s really disappointing,” PTI quoted a Delhi sports enthusiast as saying. The late announcement of ticket sales and also afterwards that there is no system tarnishes the image of BCCI and ICC. Such tournaments are held all over the world, with systems such as lotteries and ticket lines being widespread. Although the website was up and running half an hour after the scheduled ticket sale time, many fans had already lost patience.
