Women’s IPL: BCCI will soon issue a tender for five women’s IPL teams, know

There is good news for cricket fans. In fact, the first edition of the women’s IPL will be played in March 2023. For this, BCCI will soon launch a tender for 5 IPL teams. And the base price of all the equipment will be 400 crores. BCCI will soon issue a bid for the electronic auction. Existing IPL teams can also participate in this. Actually, this decision was made at the BCCI meeting on October 18, it was the 91st BCCI meeting.

Recently, the BCCI had said that the Women’s IPL will be organized from the year 2023. Along the lines of the Men’s IPL, this tournament will also be 20-20 overs. All teams in this tournament will fight each other 2-2 times. The first at the table will have direct access to the final. While in the Eliminator, there will be a match between the second and third place teams. There may be no more than five foreign cricketers in each team’s Playing XI.

According to the BCCI, the first five teams will play in this tournament to make a good team with national and international players. Each team can consist of a maximum of eighteen players. There will be no more than six foreign players in these 18 players. It should be noted that the Women’s Big Bash League is organized in Australia from the year 2016. Apart from this, Women’s The Hundred was played in England last year. The Pakistan Cricket Board has also decided to organize the Women’s League from next year.
