He Women’s Eurobasket 2023 will be held between June 15 and 25 and its headquarters are Israel and Slovenia. The matches will be played in Tel Aviv and Ljubljana. The latter will also host the final phase. In an initial plan, there were going to be four cities with matches, Tel Aviv (for the group stage) and three in Slovenia: Celje, Koper and Ljubljana, which finally remained as the only venue in the Adriatic country.
The pavilions in which it will be played are, therefore, the Stozice Arena in Slovenia (with capacity for 12,480 fans) and the Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv (10,383). The tournament will continue the 2021 edition, organized by France and Spain and in which Serbia prevailed. Spain finished in seventh position.
The first phase will be played from June 15 to 18, the first match will be played on the 20th, the quarterfinals on the 22nd, the semifinals on the 24th and on the 25th the match for third and fourth place and the grand finale. 16 teams compete that are grouped into four groups of four teams. The one who finishes first in each group goes directly to the quarterfinals. The second and third play that previous crossing, of eighths. And the last of each group is eliminated.
