The big Moment 4 update for Windows 11, which Microsoft released a few weeks ago, caused significant problems for AMD customers: Big Windows update – performance drops, black screens and other problems. The update resulted in the AMD profile being lost on some Windows 11 computers or the settings being reset as soon as the user restarted the Windows 11 PC. On the last patch day, Microsoft delivered the bug fix that is supposed to solve this problem, as Windowslatest reports.
Price-performance hit: The best graphics cards with an AMD graphics chip
The first indications of the problems became known on September 26, 2023. At that time, AMD customers noticed that all of their individual graphics card settings, including overclocking measures, were lost after restarting a Windows 11 computer with the Moment 4 update installed and were reset to the default settings.
The November 2023 Windows 11 update KB5032190 solves this problem. Windows 11 now remembers your AMD profile settings again and the customizations and performance-related settings are no longer lost after every Windows restart. However, the prerequisite is that you have installed the Adrenalin drivers at least version 23.10.2.
