Windows 11: this news promises to improve your productivity

Announced on June 24, 2021, the stable version of Windows 11 is expected to reach users later this year. But that doesn’t stop Microsoft from revealing features that will make their way to the operating system in the future.

Panos Panay, Microsoft’s chief product officer, took to Twitter to promote a feature that promises to revolutionize the way you produce and are creative on your computer. It’s called Focus Sessions.

Focus sessions help you focus on important tasks

As you can see in the short video shared by the executive, this function begins by showing you the list of tasks that you have scheduled. After choosing what you want to do, you can choose the duration.

An important detail is the integration with Spotify. That way, before you start your focus session, you can put a playlist of your liking on the music streaming service.

Below the duration of your focus session, we see how much rest you can take after completing the task. On the right side, you can see your progress and set goals.

As you can read in Panos Panay’s tweet, this feature will soon reach those who experience new Windows (Insiders) first-hand. With a lot to deal with until the release of Windows 11, it will be difficult to see if this new feature will reach all users during the initial release or later.
