Wimbledon to Federer: “Thank you for the memories and the joy”

Wimbledon paid this Thursday on Twitter an emotional tribute to Roger Federer, who built his legend on the London lawn, where he imposed a record eight titles: "Thanks for the memories and joy.".

"Roger, where to start?"write the organizers after the announcement of the withdrawal of the Swiss. The US Open tournament launched a "thanks roger"followed by a emoticon of a heart in social network. 

The last winner of the US Open and new world number one, the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz, was also brief: "Roger…"accompanied by a broken heart, on Twitter.
