Kazakh tennis star Elena Rybakina claimed her 10th career title today, overcoming a deficit to defeat Russia’s Ekaterina Alexandrova at the Ningbo tournament in China.
This victory marks Rybakina’s second trophy of the 2025 season, building on an earlier win in Strasbourg.
The world No. 9 displayed resilience, bouncing back from a first-set loss to secure the championship. She defeated Alexandrova, ranked 10th globally, with a final score of 3-6, 6-0, 6-2.
The match concluded in one hour and 58 minutes.
Rybakina, 26, is the 2022 Wimbledon champion. Alexandrova had been aiming for her second title of the season and sixth overall.
