Why the tree emoji was visible instead of the dot ball in Qualifier-1, the reason behind it is very special

Chennai Super Kings were the first team to reach the final of IPL 2023. Chennai reached the final by winning by 15 runs against Gujarat Titans last Tuesday (May 23). This was the first match of the IPL playoffs 2023. Changes in the graphics were seen in this match. Actually, instead of the point ball that was thrown in the match, instead of the point ball, you would see the tree emoji. There is a very good BCCI initiative behind this.

Commenting on the match, Harsha Bhogle and Simon Doull explained the reason behind it. Commenters said that these tree emojis are symbolic of the new environmental initiative of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI). The board has decided to plant 500 trees for each ball of points. That is, BCCI will plant trees instead of the number of point balls that will be thrown in the IPL 2023 playoff matches. Now after the final of IPL 2023, it will be interesting to see how many point balls are thrown.

BCCI has partnered with Tata Group for this initiative. Both BCCI and Tata Group together will plant 500 trees at each point. Earlier, it was said on behalf of Tata Motors that if any shot i.e. the ball hits the Tata Tiago standing on the ground, then Tata will plant five lakh trees in return. So far this season, Chennai’s Ruturaj Gaikwad and Mumbai’s Nihal Wadhera have hit shots that hit the car directly.
