Jakarta: Parents kept their daughter’s body at home for two months after her daughter died of an illness in Indonesia.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, a couple living in Indonesia had to grieve for the loss of their daughter but after that they kept her body in the hope of her return for two months.
The couple could not believe that they had lost their daughter. They refused to believe that their daughter was no more. The couple then kept their daughter’s body in their home for two months.
According to the report, when the neighbors could not survive due to the stench of the corpse after two months, the matter came to light and they performed the last rites of the corpse.
The incident took place in the village of Pilkaran in Central Java, Indonesia.
A 14-year-old girl died of tuberculosis, but her parents could not believe that their daughter was no longer alive, so they did not perform the last rites of their daughter’s body.
When the matter came to light, it was found out that the girl’s parents had also prayed for her to be alive.
