On the second day, filmmaker Manish Sharma sent Parineeti to casting director Shanu Sharma’s house. She recorded an audition clip for Parineeti, in which the actress performed a scene from Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s Jab We Met.
Parineeti Chopra further said: ‘I thought Shanu Sharma would keep that video in his collection bank. A month and a half passed, but there was no response from Sanu. After that, I left the Yash Raj Films job and then started looking for an acting school. Then one day Manish Sharma called me at the Yash Raj office and said congratulations… you are going to sign three movies with Yash Raj Films (Production House).
