Who will reinforce Licey in the Caribbean Series?

Audo Vicente, general manager of the Tigres del Licey revealed several names that will be part of the preliminary roster of the Dominican team that will participate in the Gran Caracas 2023 Caribbean Series.
Robinson Cano, Junior Lake, Webster Rivas, Kelvin Gutiérrez, Ramón Torres, Yunesky Maya, Yamaico Navarro, Williams Jerez, Román Méndez, Keury Mella and Raúl Valdés were included in the list with the option of reinforcing the team for the Caribbean Series.
 
While Jorge Alfaro, Colombian reinforcement and MVP of the final series confirmed that he will participate with the Tigers in the 65th edition of the Caribbean classic.
 
Raúl Valdés saw action with the Tigers, after being selected as a reinforcement in the Reentry Draft from the Eastern Bulls. He had five starts between the Round Robin and the final. He allowed 8 runs in 33.1 innings, for a 2.31 ERA, along with 21 strikeouts. Keury Mella, also from the Bulls, reinforced Licey and in seven innings of work he allowed 4 runs.

He ended up playing with the Gigantes del Cibao in the Round Robin stage and put up a .316 batting average, connecting with 18 hits in 15 games. He also drove in 13 runs. Webster Rivas and Kelvin Gutiérrez, from the Gigantes del Cibao, could be good options to occupy third base and catcher.
 
Yunesky Maya, from the eaglet team, is another interesting name on this list. Even though she didn’t finish very well in the Round Robin, she has always said present when requested.
