According to Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia, a nearby police officer, Ronald Cronin, shot the woman in the lower body and wounded her, after which she was taken into custody.
The injured woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment where she underwent an operation. Police Chief Eddie Garcia said that no one else was injured in the incident except the woman who attacked, but did not say why they opened fire.
The police chief told the media that according to eyewitnesses, the woman had mentioned her marital problems and her husband’s cheating before firing.
The injured woman claims that she is the wife of famous singer Chris Brown and that she took this step because of her husband’s cheating.
