In the World of Music, There Are Several Famous Album Covers
There are many examples of these: we have the ‘Nevermind’ from Nirvana, that many remember for the photo of the baby swimming, or the ‘Wish You Were Here’ of Pink Floyd where two subjects greet each other while one of them is engulfed in flames. These covers are already several years old and had such an impact that people are still talking about them. Especially because many are still curious to know the story of those people who became the protagonists of said arts and, without knowing it, saw their lives change completely.

The person in charge of this cover was Anton Corbijn, who sought to find the "gypsy chic" style that Brandon Flowers and company wanted for their second studio album, whose final cover ended up being that of a beauty pageant contestant next to a bighorn sheep. The model in question was singer Felice LaZae, who at that time worked in a Las Vegas studio and who ended up being the face of this The Killers plaque after having a chance encounter with the band which she opened for years later on the album’s anniversary tour.
