White Fox Joins Marvel Rivals Roster Ahead Of Season 7

Marvel’s mystical super spy Ami Han, better known as White Fox, is scheduled to make her hero shooter debut when Season 7 of Marvel Rivals launches globally on March 20. The official gameplay reveal trailer for “The Hunt is On” dropped recently, confirming the South Korean vigilante brings her unique shapeshifting abilities to the expanding competitive roster.

As the last known surviving member of the mythical nine-tailed foxes from Korean folklore, White Fox introduces a distinct physiological skill set to the title. Players can expect her superhuman agility, heightened senses, and retractable claws to factor heavily into her frontline combat loop, backed by her mystical capacity for life-force absorption and full-form fox transformations.

Created by writer and artist Young hoon Ko, the character initially originated in a Marvel-licensed webtoon produced by Disney Korea before making her official U.S. comic debut in October 2014 within the pages of Avengers: Electric Rain #1. Since her introduction, Han has served as the Director of the South Korean superhuman response team known as Tiger Division, participating in major crossover events while operating independently of traditional Western superhero factions.

Her in-universe backstory is rooted in persecution, with her Kumiho ancestors hunted to near-extinction by human trackers and mythical three-legged dogs known as Samjokgu. Raised in hiding, Han eventually exposed her abilities to save a friend from the Yongsan Brothers gang in Seoul, subsequently drawing the attention of the National Intelligence Service.

Prior to her upcoming integration into the Marvel Rivals framework, the character established a significant digital footprint through the mobile title Marvel: Future Fight. Her transition to a high-profile PC and console release marks a major milestone for global entertainment properties heavily adapting regional mythological figures for competitive multiplayer environments.
