Which Gulf Country Was Declared Best For Young People?

According to a report by a foreign news agency, in the 2021 Global Youth Development Index published by the Commonwealth, Kuwait ranked first in the Arab world and 27th in the world.

Qatar ranks second after Kuwait and 32nd globally, followed by Bahrain at 47, Oman at 52, the United Arab Emirates at 56 and Saudi Arabia at 57.

Along with Japan, France and Australia, Kuwait ranks among the highest in terms of youth development.

Globally, Singapore topped the index for the first time, followed by Slovenia, Norway, Malta and Denmark, followed by Chad, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Afghanistan and Nigeria.

The index is based on 27 sub-indicators, including literacy and voting rights in a study of 1.8 billion people aged 15-29.

Among the sub-indicators, Kuwait ranks 46 in education, 31 in career opportunities, 41 in equality and inclusion, 10 in health and well-being, 33 in security, and 93 in political and civic participation.
