Kuwait City: Ramadan begins in April, but now Kuwaiti astronomer Adil al-Marzouq predicts the beginning of this blessed month on Saturday, April 2.
According to Kuwaiti media, astronomer Al-Marzouq explained that if the sky is clear and free from clouds or dust, then the moon of the month of Ramadan will appear on Friday, April 1.
The moon will be born on Friday, April 1, at 9:25 a.m. Kuwait local time and will remain in the sky for about 15 minutes after sunset.
The astronomer cited a number of reasons as a result of the confirmation of the appearance of the moon on Friday, April 1, the month of Ramadan.
He said that these days the holy month of Rajab has started and many of its days have passed which means that there is only one period left in the blessed month of Ramadan which is less than two months. There is a strong possibility that the month of Sha’ban will have 29 days this year.
According to the Kuwaiti astronomer, the moon will be born on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 9:25 AM local time in Kuwait, while the crescent will be born on this day (6:25 AM) according to the international time.
He said that the birth of the crescent or the sun would be at the same time all over the world but the only difference in this matter is the time of sunrise and sunset of the moon. This year, the month of Ramadan will be visible when the sky is clear and free from clouds or dust.
On the same occasion, according to this astronomical information and if there is Shariah evidence for observing the moon on Friday 1st April 2022 according to 29 Sha’ban 1443 AH, then it will be presented by the Shariah observation board in the Ministry of Justice.
